I love photography. I absolutely love it. Ever since I was 3 years old, I have been into art, design, drawing, you name it. Since 2003, my focus has been on photography, and I continue to study and learn as much as I can to get even better at my craft. My goal is to capture those special moments of your family and chidren growing up: their birth announcements, their 1st birthdays, sweet 16s, all the way through to engagements and marriage and beyond.
I had done well in high school. I focused on science and math, but always was always eager for my design classes, such as Advertising & Design. My teachers told me to focus on science and engineering, and that art was not a career, but a hobby. Because of that, I decided to pursue Chemical Engineering while attending MIT. It seemed to be the safest route to take to have a long-lasting career.
Just before graduating high school, my art teacher for 3 years, Mr. Hillman, heard I was not pursuing art and told my parents that I'd "be back doing art again, he loves it too much." He was right. I sat down during my sophomore year of college and evaluated my life again. I was living the safe route, and not pursuing my dreams, and was not happy at all. It actually depressed me to think that this career path was all I had now.
What I did look forward to in college was freelancing as a web designer. I was learning as many programs as I could, picking up whatever my computer science friends would teach me, and looking for any jobs I could find on job boards at school, or locally. It finally hit me. Even though I was still told by people this was a bad decision, I changed majors to take as many art, design, computer design, and photography classes I could. My mom even gave me her hand-me-down Canon AE-1 to use, and I still have it to this day. It's not used as much now, but it holds a special place for me giving me my real exposure (no pun intended) to photography, and even the old techniques. I eventually graduated with an Architecture degree in Art & Design. Phew.
After graduating, I switched between a few corporate jobs working as a Project Manager, Lead Designer and Producer for various internet and mobile game companies, and even started a design company. On the side in 2003, I officially opened up my own photography business focused on selling my landscapes and art from the Boston area, where I was living at the time. It was going well, but learning how to run your own business alone was not on the school class list and I learned some things the hard way.
Eventually I met my future wife, and we moved to Hoboken in 2008 to be closer to our families. Since then, I've been working on rebuilding my clientele and exploring New York and New Jersey for interesting places. On my birthday in 2010, I decided to pursue my photography and design full-time again, having missed the creativity my jobs just did not have. It has been the most fun I've had in my life. I wake up everyday looking forward to meeting new people, editing images, and providing families with timeless moments.
My speciality is Family and Children Photography, but I also photograph plenty of other subjects.

“Anthony is an amazing and talented photographer! He has taken pictures of our family at least four times and we have never been disappointed! He captures our happiness and love in all of his shots! He's patient and understands that 3 year olds may not want to pose for a picture. The only problem we've ever had is choosing what pictures we want to keep (since we want to keep them all!!).”
- Janelle Amato, NJ
“The pictures came out beautifully and we had a great time during the session. Anthony was so easy to work with that my fiance and I were quickly able to overcome our self-consciousness and get some great shots capturing our personalities.”
- Samantha Singson: New York, NY
“We've had the pleasure of working with him and knowing firsthand how reliable and professional he is. It was crucial for us to get some great photos in a timely manner as we were planning a very small wedding in 1.5 months for just immediate family. Thanks to Anthony, we were able to share our love for each other with the rest of our family and friends.”
- Aaron Valade: Boston, MA
“The pictures far surpassed our greatest expectations. Anthony is extremely friendly and professional and made the experience genuinely enjoyable. We will absolutely be using his services again as our little one grows up.”
- Devon White: Nanuet, NY
